WHERE ARE THE FIREWORKS?!?!
It is almost America’s Birthday and we need to celebrate our independence! One of our favorite traditions during the Fourth of July, is to gather our family and enjoy watching a great firework show.
Here is a list of firework shows and celebrations in and around San Antonio. Going to a firework show is a fantastic idea if you do not feel safe lighting your own fireworks. Make sure to take a lot of people and enjoy the holiday with your family and friends.

1. City of San Antonio 4th of July Celebration at Woodlawn Lake
Saturday, July 4th, 8:30 a.m.- 11:00 p.m.
The city of San Antonio official 4th of July celebration takes place at Woodlawn Lake Park.
2. Freedom Fest, Market Square in downtown San Antonio
Saturday, July 4th ( noon- 8:00 p.m.), Sunday, July 5 (noon-8:00 p.m.), 514 W. Commerce
Celebrate the Fourth of July in Market Square with live music, art and crafts for kids, food booths and more!
3. Leon Valley’s 2nd annual 4th of July Fun and Fireworks Spectacular Celbration
Saturday, July 4th , 8:00 a.m.- dusk, Raymond Rimkus Park, 6400 Evers. Rd.
This free admission community party for the 4th of July features a 5k (8am), parade (10am), opening ceremonies (11am), live music and entertainment, food, drinks, fun activities, and fireworks at dusk. No outside food and beverages aloud.
4. Traders Village Fourth of July Celebration, Brown Expo
Saturday, July 4, 12:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m., 9333 Southwest Loop 410 at Old Pearsall Road
Free admission and activities for kids on this 4th of July at Traders Village. Activities include face painting a magician, balloon artist, mechanical bull riding for kids, chalk area for drawing and free American flag for the first 3,000 guests.
5. The Schertz Jubilee
Friday, July 3 and Saturday July 4, Pickrell Park
This annual 4th of July celebration is the Schertz Jubilee! Over two days, bring your family out for live music, a parade, a 5k Run, a carnival, BBQ Cook-Off, food and fun.
6. Boerne, Texas Fourth of July Fireworks
Saturday, July 4, 8:00 p.m.-, Boerne City Park
Boerne’s annual fireworks show starts just after dark. You can view them from all over Boerne, but the best spot is in Boerne City Park. Bring chairs, food and drinks, and your family for the beautiful show.
7. New Braunfels, Texas 4th of July Parade and Program
Saturday, July 4, 9:15 a.m., Main Plaza, Downtown New Braunfels, Texas
This daytime celebration of Independence Day includes a parade and program featuring the presentation of the Colors, a welcome, an invocation, special music, remarks by New Braunfels city officials, a benediction, retiring of the Colors, and playing of the Bells.
